Insight Bowl..........good lord I didn't expect this.

Harsh reality check for IU football! Hopefully 2007 is a season to build on and not a short-lived peak amongst the vast valleys we have occupied since 1993.

I'm glad I have a lot of strong beer left.

Oklahoma State was better than the 6-6 record they posted this year.

That much was very obvious by the end of the 1st quarter.

Their offense is amazing. They have no D, though.

What did you expect? Indiana got into a bowl game by the skin of their teeth in a year where the Big Twelve was an embarrassment. A team like Vanderbilt didn't qualify for a bowl because they played a tougher schedule but are probably a better team. OSU is much like Vandy in that they had a tough schedule. Indiana getting drilled was predictable. Next year they'll fade back into Big Ten football obscurity with like their normal 4-7 or 3-8 record.

Yea its an embarrassment for the Big Ten to have a team playing for the National Championship, and another playing in the Rose Bowl. Im sure they feel so embarrassed.

The MWC is also 4-0 big damn deal.

Well, my picks went to hell today.

The Big Ten is 2-2 but I predict will end up 2-5 in bowl games.

If the Big 12 was an embarrassment, why was Oklahoma St.'s schedule tough? The Big 12 was much better than any one gave them credit for, and I would put it ahead of the Pac 10 top to bottom.

I'll take that bet.

I agree that this game was an easy mark. IU was fortunate to be where they were and accomplished their goal of playing in a bowl game.

You obviously have no idea what their schedule looks like next year.

No reason to not expect them to be in another bowl next season based on their schedule. Please note that I didn't say they would be a great team, but you don't have to be to make a bowl. They will easily win more than 4 games next year.

I meant Big 10, sorry. OSU had trips to Georgia and Troy (who isn't all that bad). Also played FAU in their non conference.

Don't look now but the SEC is 4-0 in Bowl Games. Of course they'll lose two games tomorrow, but their muscle is flexing.

yeah i'm really impressed at kentucky squeaking by a florida state team that had half its players suspended.

Kodi Burns scored both passing and running touchdowns for Auburn last night, and the freshman probably should have been used more this year in tandem with Brandon Cox. Next year's early season matchup with West Virginia will feature two extremely mobile quarterbacks if Pat White returns for WV.

you should be. FSU top to bottom has more talent. With a lot of the guys who play a lot out, it let hungry youngsters (with more talent than UK mind you) play for a starting spot early next season. It's no surprise it was a close game.
