Seriously, what is the best Out of Conference win for a Big 10 team this year? Ohio State at 3-6 Washington? 3-6 Washington State at Wisconsin? 4-5 Pittsburgh at MSU?

 

What does this have to do with how the bowl games will play out. All I am saying is OSU will win the NT. If they end up playing LSU, then LSU will probably win. Mainly because its a home game for them. I just dont think LSU will make it. They certainly dont deserve to go in in front of Oregon. Besides Va Tech early what have they done. Win a bunch of close games against overrated SEC schools. The SEC hasnt proven a whole heck of a lot more than the Big Ten out of conference.

 

This is all I am going to say about this because we can sit here and bicker all day about the SEC. I am not going to change my mind. They are overhyped. I am saying OSU will win the NT and a Big Ten team will win either the Citrus or Outback bowl. If I am wrong I will come back and say I am wrong.

If Oregon makes it they will likely be just as dominant against OSU, although I can go ahead and pop in the Oregon@Michigan game to review it in the meantime.

Going into the week the Big Ten had 0 wins against top fifty non conference opponents

Georgia beating Auburn 10-3 right now, and they do look like the better team....Stafford has a huge arm and has much better presence in the pocket compared to Cox. Edited by fiver

hahaha of course ucla is beating arizona state

 

Great start. The defense looks like it should and Terrance Austin had a HUGE punt return that set up the TD. Some walk-on is averaging like 7 yards a carry against the ASU defense.

 

Of course, ASU is in the red zone and threatening to make it a 3 point game just like that.

 

EDIT: 10-7 now on an ASU touchdown but Carpenter hurt his right arm/shoulder.

Mizzou with it's closest win since Illinois against aTm. They were about 10 yards from surrendering the lead in the 4th before the defense held, aTm missed a field goal, and then Mizzou ran away with a TD and a safety. 40-26 the final.

Auburn was down 17-3 and on the brink of letting the game get out of hand. Cox completed a huge 3rd down pass earlier in the drive and showed poise calling several nice audibles....17-10 Georgia.

Yea its not like the Illini are up 20 or something, its a 7 point game, still anybodys game.

i liked that play at the end of the half in the auburn-uga game, the punter totally took a dive and one ref told him to get up while the other said he'd get an unsportsmanlike penalty if he does it again.

Yeah, it was rather pathetic..no one touched him.
