I must say I'm surprised to see Ohio State win at Illinois tonight. :-k

I am too. I know Illinois isn't that great, but neither is Ohio State. And they just completely dominated the 2nd half.

This year is going to be terrible.

Seriously Frazier is dumber than Warren Carter, and he's supposed to be out there for his defense only to get torched by Butler tonight.

And where in the eff was Pruitt the whole 2nd half.

this team is mind numbingly bad...they can't do anything right.

i can't even stand watching them, yet i do...it's horrible...how hard is it to...aww, f--- it.

1-11 for Trent Meacham on the night.

6 TOs for Frazier. Pretty much all of them on mind-numbing decisions.

Does Frazier have some kind of blackmail material on Weber?

That guy is atrocious.

He has been a really good defender. Butler made him look foolish tonight though. And beyond that, defense is not this team's problem. Having anyone on the damn court who can do something offensively is the problem. Frazier should be the energy guy off the bench. If Randle gets in foul trouble guarding the opponent's best player, then you bring in Frazier to defend him, but there's no reason for him to be playing over McCamey at this point.

DePaul up 14 with 10 minutes to go.

i know, FTH?

Villanova's not very good. They've done nothing impressive this year, and their ranking is dubious at best.

I'm still fully expecting the DePaul meltdown. You might remember it from such embarassing losses as UIC, NC A&T, and Vandy (even though they are good, DPU led by 16 points, and 6 with 42 secs left).

They are 4-4 when leading at the half. That's pathetic.

DePaul is going to lose by 200 to Nova tonight

Put money on it. DePaul is only getting 1.5

Nova is a stone cold lead pipe lock to cover.

I haven't been on these boards very long, but if I bet sports I could make a fortune by taking the opposite side of the line every time I see these words on here.

DePaul wins, but they certainly tried to blow it. Lead got down to 4 with a few minutes left. They are the most maddening team to watch ever...more than the Cubs.

Chester Frazier is Illinois' version of Neifi Perez. Oh and tell me how good he is defensively. The guard from Hawaii, Nash, scored at will on him. Butler just got over 30 on him. The guard from Tennesse State scored at will against him. He couldn't guard Greg Paulus. He brings nothing to the table. He kinda looks like a cracked out Dee Brown I guess, but even then he forgot the headband.

SIU and Illinois are just as maddening to watch as DePaul.

UCLA went into Maples and beat Stanford 76-67. Shipp was on fire and Westbrook and Love had great games too. Cal beat USC in Berkeley and ASU beat Oregon (!) for their first conference win in over a year. Oregon is awful, they were completely overrated in preseason polls.

UCLA's

hurt his foot again and might be out for the season (I just mentioned Roll to post that YouTube link).

I'm not really surprised by that. ASU's talent level improved drastically from last year, and they have a far superior coach than Oregon. Oregon was destined to descend, a la 2002 to 2003. They were clearly overrated in the preseason polls, as you said. I wouldn't have ranked them at all, same with K-State.

I agree with all you have said, though I didn't think Oregon would be as bad as they seem like they will be (not with Hairston, Porter and Taylor). ASU could be a bubble team this year, imo.

I thought Oregon would be better, too, making the NCAA tournament at least. Sendek is an excellent game coach, and has been very successful when he has talent. I still think the PAC-10 is very strong, I just never liked Oregon or USC as much as most seemed to. I do, however, like Stanford more than most seem to.

Stanford is underrated it appears. I came away really impressed yesterday...I think they'll be 3rd in the Pac-10 this year.

Hey Raisin if you have a dish Jrue Holiday will be on FSN North tomorrow night at 6:00. His team is coming to the Target Center for the Timberwolves Shootout. He'll be playing against Anthony Tucker who is coming to Iowa next year and the #1 team in Minnesota.
