We're cursed to a life of Cubfandom, like it or not.

Hahahaha, yeah. "Cursed." Cursed of bad players and bad ownership, maybe.

And a manager that choked during the most important games of the season.

How did he choke?

He may have made some bad moves but does he pick up a bat or throw a ball?

At least I don't have to watch any more of these Frank TV commercials wow they are getting old. I will never be able to watch that show now.

That guy may be good at impressions, but boy is he remarkably unfunny.

He should've told Soriano and Ramirez to hit better. Duh.

Lou got out managed by Bob "soap dropping" Melvin. Enough said.

"Suffer"..."We've been suffering for 100 years." We've only suffered for the length of time we've been Cubs fans. Just as much as any other team's fans who haven't seen a World Series in their lifetime.

Outmanaged? The team scored 6 runs. This town loves to blame the managers, but the players deserve the blame for this one.

Lou is just one of the many reasons that the Cubs one, you just choose to keep focusing on him. Your right the team sucked too. It was an overall organizational effort.

I've never seen a bigger bunch of gutless wonders. They should all be ashamed of themselves. Lee, Ramirez and Soriano are all huge wastes of money.

If this is all the effort they're going to put forward in the postseason, I'd rather trade away the high-priced losers, put in the entire AAA lineup, and lose 95 games again. At least they'd show more heart than these bums have.

i've never seem a team crap the bed like this one. the offense left their bats at home (excluding SOTO, of course). grounded into 4 double plays this evening...millions left of base...trillions of strikeouts. just absolutely pathetic on all counts. i've seen the cubs suck before, but i had no idea they would suck this much especially in the playoffs. i know this team had their faults coming into this series, but i'm just dumbfounded by all of this. no fight whatsoever.

If Arod has one more bad game I think he will be gone. Heck, he might be gone even if the Yankees win.

The good news is that the grounds crew has plenty of time to totally rip out the while field for the reconstruction project.
