These announcers suck but at least they're mentioning the real reasons the Cubs lost this series - the big hitters sucked and Lou didn't know how to manage his starting pitchers.

When we remember this series, that's the first thing that's going to come to mind. Doesn't matter though, we weren't winning this series anyway. Not with this anemic offense. So glad that Hendry decided to add a couple of bats at the deadline.

Talk about embarrasing yourselves in a playoff series - just goes to show this team had no business being in the postseason. In fact, as much as I hate the Brewers at least I think they would have made it competitive.

 

I can't wait to hear all about this from my Red Sox co-workers next week. This team didn't even give me any excuses to use - they may just as well have forfeited the series and gone fishing.
