Pena in to pitch for Arizona

How many times we made up 4 runs after the 6th?

CUBS are 0-26 when they trail by 4 runs or more at the end of 6 innings.

Go CUBS !!

in other words, go to bed

While that is technically true, they have come back from a 4 or more run deficit twice to take the lead after 6 innings. Against the Phils and Braves I believe. Thats when the cobs bullpen was terrible and coughed up the lead. Not saying there is much of a chance of that against the DBacks pen though.

I hope not, don't see the NL Central improving much. Esp with Jocketty and probably TLR gone.

brewers will improve... probably enough to overcome yost

I also think that some of those guys are due to come back to earth a little.

I have to get up for work at 5:00 Central . . . but for some reason I'm still watching this mess. :x

Me too...I'm also six beers in. It's gonna be a rough morning.

I'm at 12 with a fresh 18 pack handy. Anyone know a liver specialist?[/quo

I'm trying to take it easy, but I think I'll have another. Hey Hey

I seriously want to go find Frank Caliendo and rips his eyeballs out.

I just noticed his shirt is untucked in that Madden commercial. It's sticking out under his coat. I've seen them so many times now that I'm starting to notice that kind of thing.

It's almost getting as bad as the damn John Mellancamp/John Cougar/John Cougar Mellancamp commercials.

We'll be better hopefully with Soto playing a full year. We had a black hole at catcher for so long this season.

We'll see if Braun can play as well as he did this season for a full season, I think he'll fall down a bit. Though I don't see Fielder dropping and a full season of Gallardo should help.

This is much, much worse than the JCM ad IMO.

I have an inordinate amount of manlove for Kerry Wood. I'm glad he's pitching.

That's about all I can think of to keep me afloat at this point, though.

Well, I know how I felt when they won the division...and I still feel the same way. I'd rather see them lose 3 straight and go home than put me through the crap they did in 2003. Of course, I'd rather see them win the whole thing. If they're not going to win the WS I'd rather see this run end sooner than later. I don't want to be on edge throughout the playoffs only to have it end badly.

The Lofton commercial has been played a ridiculously high number of times as well.
