i might poop my pants if soriano hits a 3 run homer here

I would too, seeing as he had 1 baserunner on.

The worst thing... the Cubs have set apathy upon me.

I just don't care. After losing like we did last night, and this crap tonight... I. Just. Don't. Care.

Its either that or be "I'm gonna kill someone!!" mad. Apathy is much easier on my heart and soul, not to mention criminal record.

It's awesome seeing Kerry bringing it at 97.

On a bright note, Kerry is looking good as of late. He could be a nice closer next year.

Ya, if he lets that goatee keep growing, he'd be seriously intimidating.

that right, mofos.

Kerry Wood is pitching in the playoffs.

so how many of you stuck a fork in him over the last couple years?

I can't imagine anyone thought he'd make it back this year. He didn't believe he could do it himself just two weeks before he came back.

And right now, this is the highlight of my playoffs.

I hope Hendry brings him back for another incentive-laden deal and he stays healthy all year in the back of the pen. Trade Dempster and I'd enjoy seeing Howry-Marmol-Wood in the back end of the pen.
