Alright, So, as soon as the Cubs clinched I headed up to wrigleyville and took a crap-ton of pictures. So; here they are. Most of them suck because I couldnt keep the camera still; but some of them are salvageable!

haha. I feel like I just dropped some acid when looking at those pictures Roast.

I know. The shutter on my camera stays open so damn long on night mode, so if i move just a little bit; that happens. And, it was pretty hard to keep a camera still out there tonight.

JUST GOT BACK FROM CINCY!!! HELLLL YESSSS!!!! I would post pictures but my seats were so crappy it'd be kind of pointless. I'll check them out tomorrow and see if any are worth posting.

I knew Zambrano as going to shut them down! I'm feeling confident about our chances of making it to the WS! Oh, and sorry I'm not drunk, I had to drive back from Cincy.

Roast: What was the atmosphere like down there? Was it relatively calm, as in the cops didn't have to do anything drastic, or were people getting too crazy?

The cops were being A-holes. They were pushing us all over the place for seemingly no reason. Nobody was doing anything stupid; just a lot of screaming and yelling and chanting.

The best part was gail sayers (?) complaining about her eyes.
Um, Gale Sayers was a Bears' running back. It was either Gail Fischer or Kerry Sayers.

They better call in the entire Illinois police force if the Cubs ever win the WS.

I'm thoroughly convinced that this city would descend into mass chaos

And I'd love every soap dropping second of it.

Really, though, they had the cops on horseback just pushing us up one side walk and down the other. I dont know exactly what their plan was, because as soon as they pushed us one way, we just turned, went around, and ended up right back where we were before.

I'm happy the Cubs have time to rest up before the playoffs. Their work has only begun.

I love the fact that we have two games that don't mean crap.

It's outstanding.

Tim, hows the bandwidth holding up?

Just fine. less than a 30% peak load on the memory. The adjustments I've made over the past few months have helped an awful lot.

Now I just have to find a way to increase revenues to pay for them. ;)

You should try to goad people into buying Premium if the Cubs make or win the World Series.

Man, it was great tonight how mad a lot of the Reds fans were that there were so many Cubs fans. This guy behind us would cheer really loud whenever the Reds would do anything remotely good, at which point I would yell something to the affect of, "too bad that catch isn't worth 6 runs". He also started talking about Rex Grossman, but he didn't realize my group was from central Indiana, and we were all Colts fans...so that kind of backfired. And at one point between innings they mentioned Joe Morgan on the big screen and I kind of lost it and went on a little tirade about how much he sucks and proudly displayed my Sandberg jersey. Fun night...I just wish the Brewers game would have ended earlier so they could have had an on-field celebration.
