Look, nobody said we're totally gonna win this game, Cubs are awesomest, gonna win the next 8 world serieses. They were just pointing out that you and others were being spazzes saying the season was over because of this game, and that there's no way we could possibly come back from an insurmountable 4 run deficit with only 7 innings to go!!

 

Considering your track record on calling games over, smart money probably is still on the Cubs winning the game. But that's cool, you can crow about us drinking cubbie kool aid and how you knew this game was over and the team doesn't care/is complacent/went out partying/is too young/inexperienced/whatever cliche you want to use to say they won't win because of the uniform they're wearing. I welcome it. And hey, if it's true and my calling a game over means this game is in the bag, then the Cubs won't win another game for the rest of the year.

 

The Cubs came out flat today. Many said they looked complacent. If Lou is any kind of manager he'd knock that crap off.

 

And 2 games back with 5 left to play is not insurmountable. Isn't that the deficit we had in 98 when we forced the one-game playoff against the Giants?
