I was starting to feel sorry for Brewers fans because, I can understand feeling badly when my team doesn't come through. However, after listening to the bush-league crap their fans are spewing on MIL radio, I no longer sympathize...

This coming from fans of a team that once lead by 8.5 games and the reigning champs of finding new ways to lose games with a lead of 3 or more runs. :lol:

 

Some other delusional person made the point that Boston once had a large lead (the only problem is it didn't all disappear in 6 days).

 

The Cubs don't need to worry about the Brewers, they can take care of this thing on their own. That being said, I don't believe the Brewers are capable of winning 7 games in a row at this time of the year! Everyone talks about them being 20 games over .500 at home but their only 18-14 there since the All Star Break. That's not going to get it done.

Folks, if you think that's a tank lineup, you'd do well to look at yesterday's against Houston. And the day before.

 

That's just who they have right now - it really is that bad. And Molina's season is now done due to surgery.

With TLR having the history with Lou as far back as he does and so clearly being a lame duck manager, I really don't buy that he would go out of his way to screw the Cubs with something as low as throwing games to a contender. The Cardinals may not have much left in the tank, but I believe Tony will give the Brewers what little trouble he's capable of giving.
