The Saturday game was the one that sucked, no? Mitre was strong for like 7+ and Farnsworth couldn't retire Old Man Franco.

Just bought my ticket, send me your number Mark. I should be able to get there like 4:30-5.

I don't have a very good record either. I think I've been to 3 Z games and he's never been dominating.

I've been to one Z game and he gave up a 2-run HR to Matt Cain.

I was this close to permanently blocking that game from memory. Stupid Z :x

Just remember Tuesday and Wednesday's games (of that Giants series).

Aramis Ramirez has cemented his place as my favorite Cub. so proud to wear my #16 jersey

Geovany Soto.

No question about it. Soto is our MVP.

I did not say MVP, I said favorite player.

Why can't the Reds throw a rookie at us with a 11.25 like the Astros are using against the Brewers?

I would only want to face him if he is a righty and can throw over 87.

How rested is the pen for todays game? If Z can give 6 good innings and they can take it from there I'll be happy. I think this 3 day rest thing may tax the pen though and in the end may come back to haunt the Cubs.

Cubs didn't use Marmol, Howry, or Dempster yesterday, so 6 innings would be plenty from Z.

It's only 2 days of doing this though. Like someone else said, Marmol, Howry, and Dempster got the day off last night, and those were the only 3 who pitched Sunday. So there is absolutely nobody in the pen who has thrown two days in a row. Even if the Cubs have to go to the bullpen early the next two nights, they should easily have enough rested arms down there, and then the off day Thursday will get the pen back rested again.

'Cause he's shut us out ???

Right. But why aren't the Astros trying the same approach?

They don't care anymore. We eliminated them yesterday.

We are in great shape with two off days. That really sets us up nicely.

Why do people always have to shut down my conspiracy theories with their facts?
