Reds playing game under Protest. Said Lou failed to alert umpire before he was making a double switch.

They showed the video and the Reds have a gripe.

So what happens if the Cubs win?

Pete Mackanin complained he wasn't aware of the double switch. Lou is supposed to alert the umpires before he goes to the mound. He did not.

They showed it on video.

I am getting the Reds broadcast.

I find it hysterical that the Reds have gotten the benefit of every single close and blown call tonight, and have the gall to protest.

for consistencies sake, I hope our next manager also is incapable of making a double switch.

It'd be fun to see Lou snap like Dusty did back in the day. That was possibly the only time I've ever been happy to have Dusty as the manager.

Err, what happens if the Cubs win?

Good thing the Commissioner doesn't have any rooting interest in the Central race. I mean, uhh...

I'd hope the Cubs would do the same thing. It sucks, but its legit.

If Cubs win, and protest is upheld, I believe the game is replayed from the point of the game that was being protested.

Oh wow.

Can the Cubs just get a redo and let someone else hit instead of Soto?
