Because marshall had had a few bad outings in a row, if i remember correctly. Soto has been on fire; I think Lou will give soto the chance.

I don't doubt that Lou favors veterans. But he's not dusty, and if soto keeps playing like this I think he'll be on the playoff roster.

Yes, I think he will. Len and Bob have already laid the groundwork for it. Last night they talked about how hard it would be to leave a veteran back up like Blanco off the roster, because of all of his experience.

Cedeno is in there because we have no other regular SS's on our roster and theriot was in serious need of a day off.

 

We have other catchers on the roster (blanco) and lou is blatantly not starting him.
