Every god damn time you show this run down of stats, the cubs ARE NEVER EVER EVER leading in pitches per plate appearance.

that dissapoints me.

It's only the third inning guys. We will come back.

Not the point. The point is we've already had 2 guys thrown out at home, squandered a bases loaded 1 out situation with 0 runs to show for it, squandered a runner on second 0 out situation with 0 runs, completely botched a dropped third strike play with a lacksadasical throw to first. If we play this game soundly, we are up 5-0

I know the point. Trust me. I've kicked enough chairs and cussed enough TV's the past 35 years. But games like this happen. We'll score again.

As I recall..... the CUBS were leading one time. You must have missed it.

And now the offense is going to go stagnant

Well duh.

You are watching, aren't you? Turn it off quick.

Nah, I'm flipping between Southern Cal/Nebraska, Arkansas/Bama, and BC/GTech.

Why Lou? Why?

PH for Wuertz.

depleted bullpen

There's like 12 guys down there. Hardly depleted.

none of them are very good, certainly not better than wuertz. we could throw howry and eyre out there and then blow the game later i guess.
