Marshall gave up 6 hits and 2 walks in 2 2/3 innings tonight. While Kendall's mistake definitely hurt Marshall this inning, Marshall was absolutely terrible.

The point is we've already had 2 guys thrown out at home, squandered a bases loaded 1 out situation with 0 runs to show for it, squandered a runner on second 0 out situation with 0 runs, completely botched a dropped third strike play with a lacksadasical throw to first. If we play this game soundly, we are up 5-0

I doubt it-the Cubs seem set on going with a 4 man rotation most of the rest of the way. Trachsel or Marshall were only going to get a maximum of 1 start the rest of the way anyway.
