Nine losses in a row.

Well, this series has at least lived up to its billing. The first two games were very entertaining. I hope the last two can be just as fun to watch.

See ya guys later.

Guess the butt-kickin' of the Cards continues for the Cubs.

4-0 with me not watching since the Houston extra innings debacle.

I sense a pattern developing.

You do know you're not allowed to watch the playoffs, right?

I really was not confident at all down 2-1 in the 8th, despite what Len said I should be thinking.

Thanks Sori.

Thanks Ted, Kerry, Carlos, and Ryan.

Thanks Cliff.

Thanks Sam for not getting picked off.

4-0 with me not watching since the Houston extra innings debacle.

I sense a pattern developing.

You may not ever be allowed to watch a Cubs game again.

Go watch some Brewers games.

Heck, throw your TV away. We'll all pitch in to buy you a new one after the World Series.

You know whats funny? The 2 losses that I've taken the hardest this year for some reason is the last game at Texas and the extra innings Houston game. In both cases, I was about to come up, and in both cases the Cubs have gone on a bit of a streak afterwards.

GREAT WIN today Cubs. Terrific pitching...and special kudos to Demp for coming back strong after a tough outing last night. We'll look back at the last 2 games as being the turning point in the division. And Sori, sorry for ever doubting you...you da man!

Let's get the DH sweep tonight!

GO CUBS!

Ahh, watch the games, your going to miss them shortly.

You superstitious fools.

This was more about preserving my own health than anything else. I promised myself I would not watch until Monday to keep myself from developing an ulcer.

However, if things are still going the way they have been come Monday, I'd be willing to extend it until their next loss. :D

Woo, nice come back.

I was freaking out there with Sam Fuld nearly getting picked off. Nice 1-2-3 inning 9th for Dempster. :)

actually the Cardinals got themselves out, Dempster had nothing to do with it.

UM has been good for two good winning streaks now. I'll try to do the same, but hopefully I won't have to start a thread for a few more games.

I was also the game thread starter for the 7 game winning streak in 2005. Can't remember how I did last year...probably not good.

Corner Gas is a good way to erase the awesome feeling I had after the Cubs win.

WGN should never be watched except for a Cubs game.

Scrubs and Bulls games are ok, the rest is garbage.
