If Zambrano doesn't come out for the 9th..... it won't be Marmol taking his place, it'll be Dempster.

Because Lou randomly threw him for two innings in a four run game yesterday

I know but I would much rather see Marmol face Pujols then Dempster.

 

I realize that.... but that was never an option.

 

But it was never an option before the game because Marmol is unavailable tonight because of pitching 2 innings last night when he didnt need to.

 

Personally, I let Z finish this game, and worry about what happens on Tues, on Tues. You get this win first.

 

I'm suggesting that it doesn't matter how much Marmol has or hasn't pitched recently. In that situation, 1 run lead in 9th with Pujols up, Lou ain't gonna use Marmol. It was never an option.

Z only with 101 pitches...He could go another inning...but going on 3 days rest Tuesday might make that dicey
