What's Eyre's stats and peripherals since the All Star Break?

 

I'm not unaware that Eyre's pitched very, very well since the All-Star break, it just feels like a night where we're getting some lucky double plays is all.

Floyd hits another homer! So, what else is new? I'm still not surprised that he's doing this.

 

He has 7 homers on the year. He's gotten hot, but his power has really been absent this season.

 

He has 219 in his career. Did you guys really expect Floyd to go the whole season with only hitting a couple home runs?

 

His power was down last year when he was healthy too, so yes. Cliff Floyd is no spring chicken anymore, most players don't age like Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens do. He still is only SLG .408.

Fielding percentage is a very bad judge of defensive capabilities. It only grades a defender on the balls he gets to. It's especially bad for OFs, where errors are very rare, as they only tend to happen when a ball bounces out of his glove or he overthrows a base. Ward probably is a little worse defensively in RF. They're both quite bad out there though.
