He almost did in the game I went to last night. In his last at-bat he took the count to 3-2 after starting out 0-2. He then made an out, though.

 

Isn't it sad that him taking a walk is an event worthy of mention?

Colvin has put up a nice second half. Hopefully he can replicate that when he probably starts at Tenn next year. That strikeout to walk ratio is still absolutely horrid-hopefully he'll work on that next year. I wouldn't mind seeing him getting promoted to Iowa early next year in order to work with von Joshua on his patience.

Vitters 1-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. His hit was a line drive single into right field in the bottom of the 8th. He grounded out in the second inning, scoring Josh Donaldson from 3rd.

Tennessee, Huntsville, and Chattanooga all win again, so the Southern League North race stays the same. The only way Chattanooga can win the division outright is for them to win their final two games and both Huntsville and Tennessee lose their final two games. Tennessee and Chattanooga could tie if Chattanooga wins both games, Huntsville loses both games, and Tennessee splits. I don't know who'd win the tie-breaker in that scenerio. Either a Huntsville win or a Chattanooga loss eliminates the Lookouts and puts the Smokies in the playoffs.
