Well, this is the only other game that matters as we're playing the Brewers tonight. Unfortunately, we have to really watch the Cardinals now.

wow, they're getting their own game thread now. for obvious reasons, i suppose. just hate how everyone gives these punks so much credit; it's like everyone feeds into this 'gotta watch the cardinals' crap, and while they have to be watched now, people were saying this when they were ten games out... it just bothers me how people never talk negatively about the cardinals, but will about every other team.

You realize that they are 2 games back and just rolled through Atlanta right? That being said, I never count them out until they are eliminated...fortune always smiles on them eventually. I guess that makes me one of the people you are ranting about.

Since this is the "Other Games" thread, the supposedly rejuvenated Reds (who had won 6 straight coming in) got swept in a double header by the Pirates today.

I believe what separates the Cubs from the Brewers and Cardinals is their pitching; it’s far and away the best of the three. And, eventually it'll win out...
