I was wondering if that was just me...The google ads I mean.

 

Ah well...I can wait a week or so until I am back on premium.

Also, the board hit a snag indexing last night, so I'm continuing the indexing process this morning, which is part of the reason why the speed is sometimes not that great. It is up to post 756,800, though. 8-)

It's cool you included file attachments and jabber.

For the life of me, though, I can't find how to access jabber.

By the way, I think birthdays were eliminated out of profiles after the transfer, so people may want to put their birthdays back in. At least mine was.

Just tested adding a new theme.

 

Boy, if you want something REALLY different...try going to your user control panel, then select board preferences and choose the monolith skin.

 

Not my cup of tea, but hey, it showed me how to add new styles.

 

Holy Hell, monolith is awful.

 

Actually, Monolith isnt that bad, that BF Visa is absolutely mind boggling-ly bad, though.

 

What don't you like about BF Vista? I looked at it and don't think it's that bad. Going to check out monolith now.

 

ETA: Yeah, don't like Monolith AT all. Back to BF Vista for now.

The upgrade looks great, only one thing that is kinda annoying, when posting a reply and u click on submit, if someone posts during that time it asks you to verify if you want to submit again. That could get really bad during FA signings or trades.

It can be disabled for individual forums, and has been disabled for the game threads forum. We can disable it further if need be.

BF Vista just seems really cheesy to me. Monolith is horrible. I can't imagine how anyone could ever use that. I'm giving prosilver a chance, but I'll probably go back to subsilver.

Indexing is up to post id 909200, btw. I'm wondering if that's 909K out of the 1100K in the db or 909K out of the 1600K total posts.

Whenever it is you get Premium up and running, are more topics per page going to be seen like in the old Premium UI?

 

Also, in response you your last post, if it's indexing the 1600K total posts would that mean the threads from 03 and 04 be available to be viewed?

Not at this point. Those posts are the difference between the ~1000K posts currently in the database and the current post id, which is ~1600K.
