Aramis looking like crap on this trip, too, with the exception of that double in SF.

We really need him or Lee to click it back on against the Brewers. I hope to God Soriano can come back then.

I hope to God Soriano will come back and give Lee or ARam a break, rather than insisting on leading off.

Close. The reaction by Davis gave me the assumption that Monroe sent that out.

wouldn't it have hit off that enormous wall anyway?

I'm starting to fear that Lilly will need to be perfect to get the win, or else he will just give up some runs trying to be perfect.

I don't know whats more impressive, Chris Young's 26 home runs or his .288 on base percentage.

You actually have to try to not reach base as much as he could with as much power as he has.

at this rate, perfect won't be good enough.

most impressive is that with those numbers, he is still batting leadoff.

At least we are getting hits. Usually we go down in order.

I think we got a good shot.

Well, in case anybody cares ;) a bunch of Cubs execs are in Peoria tonight watching the Chiefs play, and our boys gave them a good show, winning 6-0 and four pitchers combining to throw a no-hitter.

According to Gameday, ball 1 to Byrnes missed deep.

with these two pitchers they are playing 6-12 with a mat behind the plate.
