Cubs fans complain about the most random and usually unimportant stuff.

Fixed.

You're right, bunting is completely unimportant. It's pretty much an automatic out with our pitchers up anyways, might as well get them to move a runner over every now and then.

Hey look, more bad sitcom programming from WGN to contrast with Cubs games.

They come up with some remarkably bad programming.

Always have, always will.

I don't know ... back in the 1980s, they had a lineup of mainstream syndicated stuff that stacked up well against what TBS had, and was miles ahead of the trash on USA network and The Family Channel.

Now, WGN seems to attract mostly cancelled sitcoms from the WB and UPN. Well-regarded stuff like 24, Chappelle's Show and Sex and the City seems totally out of place.

pitchers being able to get a bunt down is important.

And I guarantee you that you guys complain about it more than the problem is.

I see no proof that our pitchers are worse than any other national league team's pitchers at laying down a bunt.

Since I missed the first 2 innings, has the ump been calling that gigantic outside corner all day?

yes. inside too.

As far as I can tell, yes. Which is just wonderful for a lefty who is scared to challenge hitters.

Who cares about what the rest of the league is doing? I want our pitchers to be able to do something at the plate.

We waste the lead-off double. Damnit!

We routinely waste bases loaded no outs.

Whats the surprise with this one?

I don't think anyone expressed suprise, just displeasure.

Because you might be expecting something that is impossible? You can't expect our pitchers to lay down every bunt perfectly.

There is far more important things to worry about on our team than how well our pitchers are bunting.
