We all understand that Blanco is nothing but a very good defensive/pretty bad offensive backup catcher.

 

Kendall/Blanco, however, is by far the best catching squad we've had this year.

I really don't think this is a Henry Blanco 'bandwagon'. But even so, he is much more serviceable than Koyie Hill.

I don't think this thread is meant to be serious. But I agree the more he contributes the better. Kendall needs a day off here and there and it would be nice if we could actually get a hit or two out of his back up.

I believe he will be one of the cubs that is looked at with fondness, kind of like Augie Ojeda or Joe Pepitone

I like Hank. He's very good defensively, calls a great game, and as I mentioned somewhere yesterday afternoon, seems to have a knack for coming through in big situations -- as he did last night. As a backup catcher, he's solid.

Neifi's was worse. Blanco is a nice player to have on the team and can actually contribute offensively (though very little), he's just extremely overpaid.

 

Neifi should only be a 25th man and defensive sub. He has less offensive ability than Henry. And he was horribly overpaid.
