Lee and Ramirez are killing the ball today.

I know it was sarcasm, but Ramirez actually is.

he has hit the ball hard once in three trips. Off of a guy who couldn't pitch on my slow pitch softball team.

I personally believe lineup order does matter. Imagine having the pitcher and neifi in front of your best hitter instead of having them in the 8 and 9 spot.

James isn't proposing that you put names in a bag and draw them randomly. What he's refuting is the old school notion that you need a speedy leadoff hitter, all or nothing #4 hitter, etc.

So your saying you would want Ty Cobb hitting 4th? Lol.

yeah definitely wouldn't want a cleanup hitter who finished top 5 in SLG% 15 times

Led the league in slugging 8 times, second 3 times, and third 3 times.

Twice, one happened to hit DeRosa, that ball was still hit hard.

EDIT: .333 BA isn't bad last time I checked

Do we really have to give a run back everytime we score one?

Duh, its the new Cubs way.

New? It's pretty much the trademark of the organization.

I think you have to go with Ruth since he dominated as a hitter and as a pitcher.
