Initially being called a right quad strain according to Pat.

Hopefully it's no worse.

Of course, Lou found a way to keep Murton out

He's getting good at that

I just hope that it is just a cramp but the way he pulled up it does scare me that it is much more serious. If it is a cramp what is going on in the clubhouse? Z cramps twice and then Soriano, is there something that is not being taken care of in the club house that should be?

Ryan Howard strained his quad earlier this year and was just out for 15-days. Where's this season over stuff coming from?

No way can we make the playoffs with Soriano hurt.

We can barely hit now.

yea, you better heal your hammy now

Couldn't resist, it's just too funny to think that someone called AlfonsoSoriano is reporting a Soriano injury

Correct.

Soriano's awful looking reaction might also not be the best way to judge how serious it is. It probably scared the crap out of him and he reacted as such.

So when does next year start?

VORP for LFers.

Matt Holliday - 46.9

Barry Bonds - 44.0

Eric Byrnes - 35.0

Manny Ramirez - 32.8

Adam Dunn - 30.5

Hideki Matsui - 28.8

Carlos Lee - 27.3

Pat Burrell - 26.5

Alfonso Soriano - 26.0

Josh Willingham - 26.0

Chris Duncan - 25.9

Carl Crawford - 23.4

Granted, that doesn't include defense, but Soriano obviously isn't so elite that losing him, even for the rest of the season, would be reason enough to abandon hope for this year.

Soriano will likely require at least a 15 day DL stint. The only good thing is that there are 3 guys who would be able to fill in at leadoff, in Theriot, Fontenot, and Pie, who will likely come up if Soriano does in fact hit the DL.

Sure he's been just horrible the last 5 weeks, but they do need him to be productive the rest of the way.

He isn't out for the rest of the season... probably just 15-day DL. Looked like a pull, not a tear.

Theriot yes, Fontenot no, and Pie HELL NO regarding the leadoff spot. Pie is not a leadoff man.

Did you just say Therot can hit, that's not allowed on here, and will not be tolereated
