Piazza clears waivers; Tejada either doesn't or hasn't yet

I'm not a genious at the whole waiver process, but on BBTN (well the morning edition like 15 minutes ago), they ended with Olney or Stark or someone saying Piazza has cleared waivers and can be traded and Miguel Tejada either has not or has not yet. Can anyone clarify on Tejada because I didn't catch his exact words, hopefully he meant not yet and he's still in the process but who knows.

I took it as that Tejada had been placed on waivers and that he had no confirmation as to if he had cleared yet.

Honestly, I bet KW was trying to block him from the Tigers. Why? I have absolutely no idea, but there is no way they could take on his salary with the assumed drop in attendance/revenue for 2008.
