I'm not going to jump to conclusions just yet. From the looks of it, it could be a hamstring or a knee, or it could be as simple as a cramp.

Being a Cubs fan, I'm not optimistic.

He probably could have put more pressure on it if it were a hamstring. It looks like something seized up i.e. a cramp.

I hope.

Cramp? Are you kidding? He looked like someone shot him.

I take it you have never been running and had a cramp happen. I am impressed he didn't drop like a rock.

Gotta be some kind of major injury.

I'd prefer an injury being caused by something tangible, or not at all. These injuries that happen just doing normal things like running, are maddening -- and often, preventable.

give me a break, there's a LHP on the mound and instead of putting in Murton, they insert the lefthanded Fontenot. Did Soto and Murton nail the wives of Piniella and Hendry?

Saving him to pinch hit later in the game when we're down 15-1.

You ever had a bad leg cramp playing sports or running around? Only thing I've ever had that hurt worse than leg cramps was when my knee exploded and my ligaments tore.
