Aramis has hit 1 HR in his last 29 games

 

I don't get it at all. There's no reasonable explanation for his power outage.

 

Maybe he's hiding an injury or the injury to his knees is affecting his power

Fred, do you have Floyd's numbers over his last 110 AB?

Kerry Wood pitching.

 

Zambrano pitching like an Ace.

 

Jacque Jones putting up acceptable offensive #s.

 

If you would have told me all of these things would be true 2.5 months ago I'd have called you crazy.

 

If you told me this now I'd call you crazy.

 

He hit .288 with a .368 OBP in July...for him, in Center...that's acceptible in my book.

 

With absolutely no power whatsoever beyond the six doubles. I expect more out of Jones. While it's better than what he was doing, I still don't quite consider it acceptable.

 

Told you Jacque was hitting acceptable :D
