El Duque's BABIP so far this year-.223. That's just absurd.

 

I'll say, I bet he's the only guy in the league below zero.

 

Pretty good trick isn't it? I wonder if that's the lowest number for any starter this year.

Seriously though, I can't believe that. It seems like he always strikes out on 3-2.

23 Ks in 55 ABs does seem like a lot, but I guess when you already have 2 strikes on you, thats probably normal to K 42% of the time, especially being a supposed power hitter.

Duh...the walks don't count as AB's... #-o

 

He had 82 plate appearances.

Does that mean 55 ABs of 55 PAs? If it's ABs that's 81 PAs and only 23 Ks.
