hahaha, that lineup and marquis v. webb. you never know, thats why they don't play the games on paper. but the cubs definitely don't have their horses today dude.

Does it look favorable? No. But the presence of Soriano and Ramirez in the Cubs lineup remains far superior to whatever Arizona puts on the field.

I hope I'm wrong, but I fear the Cubs getting swept in this series. The D'backs might be young and not hitting, but the Cubs just do not play Arizona well from year to year. On a good note, they do play them better at Wrigley versus playing in Arizona.

This is true. In 2004, when the Diamondback were absolutely awful, they still owned the Cubs.

Fearless prediction:

14-2 Cubs, Marquis, Moore, and Fontenot all homer with Marquis' being a grand slam.

And Scott Eyre will get a save...Yeah right!

And I believe in 2003 we had trouble beating them..

Actually, in 2004 they were a decent team when the Cubs faced them in April and early May. Then they started to deteriorate.

head scratcher lineup = cubs victory

Maybe Lou is watching ESPN's Bronx Is Burning to see how he is portrayed and he wants to give the pull the lineup out of a hat thing a try.

Before this year we also had a boatload of trouble with the Giants. I'm not worried about the past, I'm worried about the present. We're the better team and we should take the series.
