Winn with a grand slam for the dodgers in the 8th. WIN ROCKIES WIN

Rockies???

In other news, Cards pitching has surrendered 23 runs and 37 hits in the last two games. Their forays to the trash heap (Wells, Maroth) haven't gone so well.

He's giving updates on the Dodgers game while cheering for the Rockies to beat the Brewers even though that game hasn't started. Weird, isn't it?

yeah, that confused me. I thought he was saying that Winn was on the Rockies.

But anyway, go Giants and go Rockies.

bonds in scoring position with one out... given how he runs, it'll have to go over the fence for him to get home.

Or one of the outfielders would have to fall into a sinkhole.

Yea, its pretty funny, one of my Cards fan buddies when Maroth was making his first start on ESPN, hears the announcers say "Maroth is kind of like Tom Glavine, in the fact that he is a lefty, and will give you 200 innings". He then calls me, raving about Maroth, saying ESPN just compared him to Tom Glavine. Im like I heard what he said and you are a jackass if you think they were comparing the 2.

the giants starting lineup today was a combined 317 years old (average of 35.2) When Pedro Feliz is the youngest hitter in your lineup, you really should re-evaluate the way that you're building the team.

Good Lord. Did you guys see the poll question on ESPN.com?

Was Roger Clemens' 7th start against the DRays worth a pro-rated 840,000 salary?

Brewers radio guys couldn't wait to pass on to their listeners that Cliff Floyd got hurt today--because "he's such a big part of the offense."

Uh huh... he's day to day not dead. Besides, Cliffy doesn't play everyday.
