Go Pirates, Astros, Cards, and Braves! (weird, I'm rooting for 3 division rivals...)

Why don't we just focus on the Cubs winning? If they do that everything else will take care of itself at this point. Worry about scoreboard watching this intensively if we are down a couple games come September. There's too much baseball left for this.

You're probably right. I still like to scoreboard watch, though. It doesn't mean that you have to.

I'm a big fan of scoreboard watching. Makes the second half of the season way more fun.

Means I can watch or listen to a couple or three games a day sometimes that I care about what happens, which is good.

Exactly, and plus, I love baseball. So following games (whether they involve the cubs or not) is just downright fun.

The whole "dont watch scoreboard, worry only about cubs" thing is fine...for the players. But seriously, it's not like it's going to distract us from winning....we dont even play the game!

Blown save alert in Houston. The Astros entered the ninth with a four run lead. The Phillies already have gotten two in, have runners on second and third with one out. Houston is now making a pitching change.

The Braves lead the Dodgers 1-0 in the 4th. If the Braves can win, the Cubs will end the day 4 games out of the Wild Card

Well, the Cubs are no closer to the lead in the WC, but the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place team all lost. So the Cubs remain 5 out of LA, 3.5 out of Arizona, 1 out of Atlanta, and now are tied with Philadelphia for 4th. A Cubs win today and they will either move within 4 games of the WC or be in a tie with Atlanta for 3rd.
