However there seems to be at least 1 person (on the Marlins board) who knows exactly who the prospect the Marlins have traded, and at least 1 more player who heard news of the trade. Oh they're finalizing the deal right now. My inside source said that Hendry's pen ran out of ink and he's mighty picky about the pens he uses. He made a quick run to Staples and he'll be right back to sign and finalize the deal!!!

Marlins fans should be doing backflips it this trade actually happens. Jacque Jones is 10 times better than Amezaga. Finally, the Marlins get themselves a legit CF for the first time in over a year and a half.

He is a good bit better than any CF they currently have on their roster.

 

Jock Jones shouldn't be considered a CF, and I'm pretty sure they could find better OF production somewhere, anywhere, in their minor league system.

I was thinking the same thing with regards to the weather. My window just looks out an indoor lounging area, but I was able to hear the rain and thunder coming down on the roof 8 floors up.

 

I mostly assumed it would be cancelled cause I have tickets.

 

if only there was a nsbb obsessed weather man to clue us in to the likelihood of Cubs baseball tonight.

 

It will be fine tonight. The VOR will be ten rows back of the Cubs dugout surrounded by beautiful and adoring women. No way it rains on his parade.

 

If i was surrounded by beautiful women I would have no problem if it poured. With that said my girlfriend is going to the game...I hope she isn't around you.

Personally this would be an incredible move. I think there is a large amount of pressure on Cub’s players in Chicago and a change in scenery could work wonders for Jones
