Great, great AB by Hill. That was a great piece of hitting to pull that one down the line. Fuentes is no slouch. Tonight he was though.

well his defense did kinda let him down big time

What is everyone talking about with a fan coming on the field? When did this happen?

During the next at bat after the Tulowitsky homer some loser ran at Howry and was "intercepted".

After Howry gave up the homer to Tulowitzki. A fan charged and actually made it to the mound and was taken down by security.

Anyone have Kasper's call and the Soriano interview? I was stuck with the Rockies announcers tonight as I was blacked out on Extra Innings.

I wanna hear Pat and Ron's call.

After the Tulowitzki home run. Dude was making a beeline for Howry, and two security guys racked him about 5-10 feet from the mound.

Top of the 9th. It was during the Howry mess. I think there were no outs or 1 out. The Rocky batter pointed at the sideline and then the Comcast camera spotted him and he was running at the direction of Howry. The Cubs infield approached. The fan came from the Rocky side of the field and about 5 security personnel came running. I didn't know at first if they were other crazy fans or security personnel. But of one of them absolutely clotheslined the person right in front of the mound. The Comcast cameras gave us a perfect view of the thing for about 5 seconds or so.

Soriano is a god.

And apparently, God has his own language.

I said A god, not THE God. The real God would've hit a home run.

But yeah, Soriano did sound like he was speaking in tongues.

If Charles Manson watched tonight's interview, he's likely to go on another killing spree.

I am surprised cuz they never show it and Len always makes a point of sayin they aren't gonna do the fan any favors and show him now matter what, but i did enjoy the clothesline

I thought it was a bat boy, which would be perfect, but I've been drinking. The Cubs do that to you.

That guy did get creamed though. I loved it.

Well I saw the batter frantically motion then Comcast put on the view that is right at where Len and Bob were sitting so everyone could see it. I guess it was just an accident and the high view was the next scheduled view.

Was anyone suprised that no lefties were brought up? I didn't think Fuentes' ERA against lefties was much worse than against righties.

Do other teams reach this level of craziness in their games? I guess I'm biased, but it just seems like we have 1 or 2 games like this every year that no other team can touch.

A real good example is that Mongo/Angel Hernandez game a few years back. Just insanity. It's always at Wrigley too. I mean, the phrase "Wild one at Wrigley" is a calling card now.

Tonight we've got bipolar winning/losing, fans freaking out running on the field, Soriano speaking in tongues......just great stuff. 8-)
