This is all on Lou.

Yep.

yep

God forbit pitchers, you know, get a few guys out.

Eyre did get six guys out. He shouldn't have been sent out for the ninth.

God forbid, Lou learn how to use a pen. He's messed it up all year long.

Hey he was trying to do fatboy a favor and get his confidence back up. yeah, it was a bad move, but if chunk didn't walk the first 2 batters of the inning, this big inning probably woundn't have happened.

Yep.

Now I don't think Lou handled things as well as he could have, but that's a ridiculous statement. 8-3 in the 8th. He's been with 10 pitchers the past few days and doesn't have a whole lot of options. He was trying to get Eyre through the game with a huge lead. Once Eyre gets hit, he brings in the new closer and he gets hit too. Not much he could do. He didn't want to have to use Marmol again because he's been using him so often and Marmol has been starting for awhile and probably shouldn't be pitching every single game. I blame this on Howry. Eyre got hit to start the 9th but Howry should have came in and stopped the bleading. If you don't want to blame it on him, then blame it on Hendry. Make a frickin move to bring up a pitcher.

I think Eyre should have been given the chance to go until he let a baserunner on. not even having Howry up was silly.

tried to boost Eyre's confidence and it totally backfired.

Get off this team idiots!

Blame this one on Lou.

Eyre lucked his way through two innings. There was no reason to send him out for the ninth.

If Lou lets Howry start his own inning, this game has a different result.

I suppose. Howry's been pitching pretty much every day though. I can't stand seeing Eyre on the mound, ever, so yeah Lou should have known he was playing Russian Roulette and he had already gone through 5 empty chambers

I still say if Eyre can't get anyone out, he should simply be DFA'd, forget about the contract money, we're essentially paying him to lose games for us. DFA makes more sense than that.

LOL what a team. But hey we are going to come back in the bottom of the inning!

I had a nice winning article all wrote for my blog, and then I'm throwing together a losing article because of terrible managing and a few relivers that can't get anyone out to close the ballgame...

the Rockies announcers were just talking about all the beat writers at wrigley freaking out and rewriting their articles

oh my

that might be worse than the mets game

LMAO, I love these charts, they're freaking hilarious. The only time anyone posts them is when they show the Cubs just falling off a cliff like a suicide jumper
