Nice...

Has there been any speculation about when Lee's appeal will be heard? I'd hate to have him miss the upcoming series against Milwaukee.

All the talk I've heard is that he'll likely miss his games after that series.

The Cubs have now wrapped up just their second season series win over the White Sox since interleague play began. In season series against the Sox, the Cubs are now 2-5-4.

some quotes from White Sox Interactive:

Terraro and Cintron makes gascan Howry look like Mariano Rivera

This team is getting overpowed by an old Howry. They really are the worst baseball team in the world. Absolutely no heart. No heart at all.

2 runs in 2 days vs. the freaking Cubs.

I love winning the first two games of any series. Makes me much more relaxed for game three. A win would be nice, but the series is in hand.

Roger that.

Echoing the thoughts of the previous poster, a sweep would be great, but taking the series is a good start. The Cubs are going to have to put together some series wins before they start worrying about what Milwaukee is doing. Get above . 500 and then start worrying about the Brwers, until that point it doesn't really matter.

My least favorite thing in the world is losing the last game of a series. I'm happy that we won the series, but we have to bring the sweep home.

My least favorite thing is winning the first and losing the second two, something we had done two straight series. It drives me insane.

Yeah, especially a Sunday game. A lot of managers like to give some of the starters a rest on Sunday and with a guaranteed series win, Piniella might be inclined to rest someone and I'd like to see him do the exact opposite, and send the regulars right back out there.

Today's game seemed like a big win. The players really celebrated a successful squeeze. Ride out the high. This is how teams run off a string of victories. It's a little more fun and relaxed when everyone has a smile on their face and the team is winning.

Don't get me wrong, it's important to win tomorrow guys. If we're going to get back in this thing (which I just can't see happening, unfortunately), we're going to need to start stringing together some serious win streaks. However, I'll take 2 out of 3 easily. It's nice to know we already have that.
