What I find more shocking is that Iowa is still rolling along in the win column without all these guys...

Especially given how bad their pitching rotation is now that Marshall, Guzman and Marmol are in the big leagues and Mateo is still hurt.

What's everyone's opinion on Marshall's ceiling? Everything I've read seems to suggest he can be a solid middle of the rotation starter. That certainly seems pretty accurate and there's nothing wrong with that.

Don't hate on Les!

Les Walrond - 4.66 ERA

JR Mathes - 5.00 ERA

Neal Cotts - 5.68 ERA

John Webb - 6.18 ERA

Ryan O'Malleye - 7.52 ERA

That's a first place team's rotation, people.

Don't tell me about Les Walrond, I've created 2 separate groups on facebook related to him.

And dont forget about Cedeno, Pigs and Pagan.

Cedeno is lighting up Iowa like a pinball machine at the moment. Pigs has a 2.31 ERA in 23 innings with 20ks. If Cherry and Cotts can get back to where they were and Guzman comes back healthy, our pitching staff will be just about cemented with the re-sign of Z, who isnt that old himself.

Pagan may have come from the Mets organization and been hampered last season with injuries, but he is only 25 and looks like he can stick on the big club for a while. Good glove, 3 field OF, switch hitter with speed will always have a place on my bench.

We could have a real exciting team for a long time if they keep up this production. Just need to fill in a few holes.
