Hahahaha. Man this team is awful. Also, what was with the meeting before the game and Barrett not being around? Anything said about this?

Petersen must not pay much attention to the Cubs these days..no Cub fan has that much motivation anymore.

Hes an actor,remember ?

that Dan Uggla homer really didn't make me too angry. i think i am desensitized to failure. this can prove to be both good and bad for my mental and physical health in the future.

That truck should be driven into a brick wall.

He was in Jim Hendry's office signing his extension.

I'm starting to root for lopsided losses. This thing can't be blown up soon enough.

Edit: what Truffle said.

Blanco flied out to deep left center field

Can't you just hear the discussion in the dugout before this inning..................." OK guys lets try to hit some pop flys and see if they blow out of the park" Sadly maybe the best approach all night.

the good news - every loss is a step closer to the end of the jim hendry era

If you think that things would just magically turn around if Hendry is canned, I think you're sadly mistaken. The team he put on the field should be playing better than what they've shown.

That and the fact that the Cubs will be feeling the effects of his horrible backloaded contracts for several more years whether Hendry is here or not.
