it's games like this that make it easy to wonder how the team even won 20 games this season

Poor overall talent + lack of baseball instincts + complete player apathy = 2007 Chicago Cubs

22-29? Overachievers!

why do you even watch?

Can't watch a better comedy than the Cubs.

Can't turn away from car crashes.

Abercrombie hit by pitch

I'd ask for a bench clearing brawl, but I'm sure they'd lose that as well.

Haha. yes.

Fake rally time! Get your fake rally caps on!

I expect two quick, easy 1-2-3 innings for the Cubs.

And here goes Brenly once again with the stupid excuses.

Watching this team is brutal.

Turn to CSN in about 20 minutes to watch the Sox/Aardsma walk in the final run vs. the Twinkies. That should make you feel better.

A Cubs pitcher that has control problems? Why I'd never...

I just get in and turn to the game. Down 9-0 is bad enough, but then hearing the wind is blowing out 15-20mph the whole game!! Only the Cubs could find a way not to even get lucky enough to back into at least one run.

If the Cubs win a game by September...will anyone notice...

If a tree falls and nobody is around to hear it...
