Lou's been having Pagan bat in the 2 spot the last few times this lineup against a left-hander was put in. I don't know why Izturis is any worse for that spot-he's having a good month, and he has great lifetime numbers against Willis. If this were a constant thing, I'd be upset (and I was really upset when Lou put Izturis in the 2 spot against a pitcher he's horrible against, Ben Sheets, early in the season) but he's a pretty decent option there for tonight.

 

With that said, now that I posted this he'll go 0 for 4 and look horrible, but I guess that's how it goes :D

well izturis has had pretty good luck against willis.....errr...ahhh....hell its still stupid.

Eh izzy in the 2 hole won't make or break this game. With all the good numbers the Cubs offense has against Willis they should have and capitalize plenty of opportunities.
