Fun fact: Scott Eyre has come in and not allowed a runner to reach base a grand total of four times out eighteen appearances.

His whip must be through the roof

only about two and a half, which coincidentally matches his weight

ONLY... :-)

Before today it was 2.44. It's even higher now, which is just hard to contemplate.

With the exception of the starting staff, Pie, Lee, Aramis and Theriot, is there anyone on this team worth keeping?

The starting staff.

Ward is a real good backup.

If Eyre really tries, I bet he can make it to 3.0.

This is by far the most boring Cubs game of the year. I feel bad for the people at this game. Just an absolute waste of time.

Unfortunately, NSBB's day at Wrigley.

Glad I gave my tickets away.

Seriously, if I was the owner I'd give the fans back their money. This is a snore.

Good thing I over slept and missed the first 4-5 innings.

You're lucky someone didn't ask to be paid to take them.

I've never seen a bigger bunch of underachieving losers in my entire life.

I'd never thought I see the 2004 team topped, but it pretty much has so far. With this talent in this division the players should be embarrased.

Unfortunately, the gate proceeds have already been confiscated by the General Manager, as he had one of his interns make a run to Dunkin Donuts.

The Cardinals won 105 games that year, so even a Wild Card spot would've worked.

At least the 2004 squad waited until the last week to totally cave.

Our problem is that we could have gotten more from our FA signings if we had just gone out and gotten six catchers.

We needed OBP and power, we signed Soriano who hasn't shown much of either. We needed pitchers with control, we got that somehow. We needed a bullpen, we were too busy getting hackers with no power.

Give it time.
