Saenz, pinch hitting for Billingsley, singled to left field

Pierre singled to center field , Saenz to second

Abreu struck out swinging

Garciaparra singled to right center field , Saenz scored, Pierre to third

Martin walked , Garciaparra to second

Ohman in to pitch for the CUBS

Kent, pinch hitting for Gonzalez, called out on strikes

Lou sure doesn't know how to use his bullpen.

 

Kent really shouldn't have been that surprised to see a slider. He looked like he never saw that pitch before. That was a meatball.

Wow - not the outcome I expected. Maybe the baseball gods finally took a little pity on us.

 

There's still another inning to blow it.

blanco friggin sucks... good job signing him to a two-year, $5.5M deal, jim. I'd hate to have better offense from Soto at 15% of the cost.

 

Its like giving money to a kid. Hes got to spend it.

Another problem with an ownerless team.
