Activating an Account

Not sure which forum to post this under, but a co-worker of mine signed up here over the weekend, but isn't sure how to activate her account.

 

It's been so long since I signed up, I don't remember the process. Is there a link that was sent to her email, or does an admin or mod have to activate her?

I believe the settings currently require Tim to activate new members. It was set that way to prevent bots from registering.

 

I think the appropriate forum for this would be Site Suggestions, so I'll more it there. It may get lost in the crowd in Social.

My friend said that he registered over a month ago but still hasn't been activated....I remember it took a while for me but he keeps asking me about it...I just told him to be patient and keep checking.

He was Z38 and he lasted about 10 posts, made a smart-ass thread about Premium users not being able to access Premium during the technical difficulties after I told him about it, and was immediately excoriated and banned.
