Considering how badly his control disappeared and that Lilly went 8 yesterday, I'm not terribly surprised. I really hope Marquis gets deeper into the game though, because Z is going tomorrow.

Good job by Marquis of recovering. He didn't look good after the homer, but he got out of the inning. Now he needs to settle back down.

Seems like Lou has used that as an effective motivational tool a couple of times. Could be wrong, but I don't think they would have yanked Marquis there considering how well he's pitched otherwise.
