damnit Lou, way to jack Gooz's confidence.

What? This inning could really get away then we'd be angry because no one was warming in the 'pen.

That should be an unearned run. Damn ump.

Yes, let's blame the ump for a pitcher's inability to throw strikes.

Or blame the ump for the non-call in the previous AB's that lead to the bases being loaded.

im blaming barrett on this inning. Guzman was rolling along with the fastball the first three innings. Something like 12 of the first 15 pitches this inning were offspeed pitches. They were what got him in trouble. He went back to the fastball at the tail end of the inning and averted disaster.

Worthless pitch. Worthless pitcher.

You have to be kidding.

Of course I am, but that is completely ridiculous to not even challenge a bad offensive player and give up the lead to the worst team in the majors.

He wasn't pitching that badly. He was consistently 0-1 on hitters until Eyre got up...and then magically he goes 3-0 on that hitter. Coincidence? I think not.

Plus, Eyre is packing a gas can with him to the mound. Wrong guy to put in the game anyways.

Yeah, but he was out of that inning. He had K'd Zimmerman twice. Much better pitches than got Soriano rung up.

He also just started getting his curve working. And over the plate, too. It was non-existent in the first few innings.
