This is stupid. The game is on CSN and I'm blacked out on MLB.TV anyway.

 

all games for all teams are blacked out because of Fox every Saturday afternoon

 

But it's not on FOX. FOX doesn't have the rights to this game so it should be televised.

 

doesn't matter for some reason every single game no matter if it is fox or not gets blacked out on Saturday afternoon. I guess the feeling is they want you to watch the Fox game instead of watching a game you care about on the internet.

It's always going to be blacked out if the start time is earlier than 6 PM.

 

this coming the same week that two cubs-pirates games were blacked out for me, even though they were on FSN pittsburgh, and i dropped another $30 because for some reason getting the yearly pass wasn't enough to watch the game yesterday, and i had to pay for premium. Pretty sure I'm not getting MLB.tv next year, unless some changes are made.

 

are you just not going to watch the cubs and stick with radio?

 

if i have to... if i'm paying $150 or whatever i deserve to watch most of the games and not have to deal with mlb.tv hitting me up for more money like a crack whore

Doesn't matter. All games are blacked out nationaly on MLB.tv or MLB EI until like 6pm ET on Saturdays because of Fox.

that's like the stupid reason we can never watch flyers games around here when the penguins are on. Problem is, I don't give a crap about the Penguins, so rather than get my business watching the Flyers, they just lose the business they could've had from me watching a game I'm actually interested in. But it's the NHL, they're so crazy popular that they can afford to alienate fans like me.

The worst is I get stuck with the Yankees game every saturday on Fox even though I'm only 4 hours from Chicago.
