Oh man, thought that was gone based of crowd reaction.

The crowd always overreacts during rallies.

It always overreacts regardless.

ding ding ding.

we have a winner.

there can be a pop fly to shallow center and half the crowd will stand and go insane thinking it's leaving the yard.

It's quite hilarious, actually.

I think there's a pretty clear difference between the overreaction on normal flies, and the same hit during a rally.

Lou has to stop letting these guys make outs on the bases. The "make something happen concept" is killing this team.

Derosa is worhtless

for running on what was probably a missed hit-and-run, and for being called out when he was safe. Intelligent comment.

After working a walk in a 8+ pitch AB...

I go to lunch, down 4-0, come back in time to hear the Cubs tie and take the lead.

I will now be going to another lunch.

The issue is with Lou. He has to make sure guys aren't making outs on the basepaths by not putting them in motion to begin with.

and oh by the way, coming into this game he had a 266/341/506 line. I wish all our middle infield/utility players were that "worthless."
