Washington sucks even more than the Cubs do.

Although the former Expos have always given us fits. I thank God, Allah, and Budda that we don't have to play in Montreal anymore.

The idea of possibly winning 3 series in a row is just too much for me to ponder...

Lets just try to win tomorrow and worry about the rest later.

This pitcher has had 4 quality starts in a row against the Braves, Phillies twice, and the Mets. Also, none of the Cubs starters have faced him-hopefully Z can have a good day on the other side because this is going to be a tough matchup because of those two facts above.

A win would be nice, but I bet this chump pitcher shuts us out through seven.

I bet the Nationals fans are saying the same thing about Zambrano if they're looking at those numbers

Boy, the more they happen, the more I hate off-days.

Hopefully the Cubs can use these next two series to, not only turn around their record as a whole, but to turn around their home record a bit. Wrigley has not been nice to this team.

isn't it usually the pitcher's advantage when the hitters have never seen him before.

Also, Theriot and Pie should start tomorrow. The pitcher has never gotten them out.

This pitcher has been tough and so has Shawn Hill (who will also pitch in this series). Hopefully, the Cubs treat them rudely like they did Ian Snell.

It would also help if Zambrano shut them out because their offense has been woeful.

Wasn't it right around this time last year when Wood made his season debut against the Nationals on a Friday afternoon and then proceeded to get lit up?

No idea but this current Nats team doesn't have the offensive weapons that the 2006 team boasted.

Yeah, May 18, 5 IP, 4 Runs/all earned, 0 BB's, 6 k's, 3 dingers.

Didn't he tease us in the first inning by striking out the side or something?

Almost. Sort of.

Soriano K'd in four pitches

Anderson grounded out on the first pitch

Nick Johnson K'd in three pitches

I was close. I knew it was something like that.
