Marquis deserves a standing O. Great, great outing.

 

I'm happy with the end result, but things could have just as easily broken the other direction.

 

He got lucky to get out each and every single jam he got himself into. Still, it's enough for me to be happy about for a while.

 

The big key for him was avoiding the XBH. He didn't give up any today, and that was largely due to great location. Unfortunately, him avoiding XBH also caused him to nibble a little bit and raised his pitch count. He was lucky to avoid giving up 1-2 runs today though.
